Como Aprender el Tiempo Futuro en Inglés


SIMPLE FUTURE


Simple Future has two different forms in English: "will" and "be going to". Although the two forms can sometimes be used interchangeably, they often express two very different meanings. These different meanings might seem too abstract at first, but with time and practice, the differences will become clear. Both "will" and "be going to" refer to a specific time in the future.


* “WILL” FORM
{This form often suggests that a speaker will do something voluntarily}

- POSITIVE ( Will + Verb ) :

1. I will help you
Yo te ayudaré

2. You will remember me
Tu me recordarás

3. He will cook for me
Él cocinará para mi

4. She will fall into a sleep like death
Ella caerá en un sueño parecido a la muerte

5. It will rain
Va a llover

6. We will try to do our best
Trataremos de hacer lo mejor posible

7. You will survive
Ustedes sobrevivirán

8. They will destroy you
Ellos te destruirán
- NEGATIVE ( Will + NOT + Verb ) :

1. I will not help you
Yo no te ayudaré

2. You will not remember me
Tu no me recordarás

3. He will not cook for me
Él no cocinará para mi

4. She will not fall into a sleep like death
Ella no caerá en un sueño parecido a la muerte

5. It will not rain
No lloverá

6. We will not lose
No perderemos

7. You will not survive
Ustedes no sobrevivirán

8. They will not destroy you
Ellos no te destruirán



- QUESTION ( Will + Subject + Verb ) :

1. Will I find love?
¿Voy a encontrar el amor?

2. Will you still love me tomorrow?
¿Me seguirás amando mañana?

3. Will he arrive late?
¿Él llegará más tarde?

4. Will she call you tonight?
¿Ella te llamará esta noche?

5. Will it rain?
¿Va a llover?

6. Will we try to do our best?
¿Trataremos de hacer lo mejor posible?

7. Will you survive?
¿Sobrevivirán?

8. Will they destroy you?
¿Ellos te destruirán?




* “BE GOING TO” FORM
{Expresses that something is a plan}

- POSITIVE ( Am/Is/Are + Going To + Verb ) :

1. I am going to be an actor when I grow up
Voy a ser actor cuando sea grande

2. You are going to meet her tonight
Tu vas a reunirte con ella esta noche

3. He is going to spend his vacations in Colombia
Él va a pasar sus vacaciones en Colombia

4. She is going to make the cake
Ella hará el pastel

5. It's going to be legendary
Va a ser legendario


6. We are going to meet at 8pm
Nos vamos a reunir a las 8pm

7. You are going to miss me when I'm gone
Ustedes me vana a extrañar cuando me haya ido

8. They are going to get married
Ellos van a casarse


- NEGATIVE ( Am/Is/Are + NOT + Going To + Verb ) :

1. I am not going to give you my permission
No te voy a dar mi permiso

2. You are not going to believe this
No vas a creer esto

3. He is not going to spend his vacations in Colombia
Él no va a pasar sus vacaciones en Colombia

4. She is not going to make the cake
Ella no va a hacer el pastel

5. It’s not going to happen
No va a suceder

6. We are not going to be happy to see her
No vamos a estar felices de verla

7. You are not going to miss me when I’m gone
Ustedes no van a extrañarme cuando me haya ido

8. They are not going to get married
Ellos no van a casarse
